Deirdre Dyson lives in the West Country and works from a studio on the river Avon. Deirdre trained for two years as a fine artist at the Byam Shaw School of Painting and Drawing, London, and for three years as an illustrator/graphic designer at Wimbledon College of Art, London. She began her career in the 1970s as a graphic artist and illustrator and received early acclaim for her illustrations in Vogue magazine. As a painter, she first came to the public eye, reaching an international audience, when her paintings were reproduced in a series of cards published and distributed world-wide by Prime Arts. Since then Deirdre has exhibited widely throughout Great Britain. Throughout her career, Deirdre has built up a loyal following of collectors and supporters, which was highlighted by the overwhelming success of her last exhibition at Simon Capstick-Dale Fine Art in London. Deirdre's work is represented in many private collections and her paintings can be seen hanging in many prominent corporate collections.
